Delivery of instruction by distance education methods must be congruent with the program curriculum plan and enable the students to meet the goals, competencies and objectives of the program and the standards of the board.
Distance education programs, and out-of-state programs provided in North Dakota, must meet North Dakota's standards for nursing education.

Licensure: The student will require a North Dakota or multistate license (if in the Nurse Licensure Compact). Clinical faculty, including preceptors, require a North Dakota license to work in North Dakota facilities. Didactic faculty do not require a North Dakota license.
