For LPN licensure:
For RN licensure:
- Content in biological, physical, social and behavioral sciences – must have A&P
- Content in growth & development / developmental psychology
- A minimum of 30 credit hours in nursing courses
- Nursing courses must have theory and direct clinical experience across the lifespan

For APRN licensure:
- APRN Education regulations found in K.S.A. 65-1133 and K.A.R. 60-17-105 and contain the following requirements:
- Each program shall consist of at least 45 semester credit hours
- Must have a minimum of 3 credit hours each for:
- Advanced Pharmacology
- Advanced Pathophysiology
- Advanced Health Assessment
- Shall have curriculum that includes:
- Role alignment
- Role of the advanced role for which the program provides instruction
- Healthcare delivery system
- Ethical and legal implications of advanced nursing practice
- A minimum of 500 clinical hours in each clinical track
- Program must have national nursing accreditation (K.S.A. 65-1133)
