The 2012 NCSBN APRN Roundtable is an opportunity for advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) stakeholders to discuss common issues/concerns regarding APRNs.

Objectives:
1. Explain pro-competition advocacy for APRNs as evidenced from the advisories issued by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to Florida and Texas legislators; 
2. Analyze the state-by-state comparison of elements of consensus utilizing the maps on ncsbn.org; 
3. Distinguish two strategies in exam development that assure an exam reflects current practice and evidence; and 
4. Describe the strategy for measurement or quantification of continued competence as illustrated by the structure of the certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) recertification process
