- Delivery of instruction by distance education methods must be congruent with the nursing program curriculum plan and enable students to achieve program outcomes.
- Such programs must be approved by the regulating body in their home state and comply with the regulatory requirements in each state where the program is offered.
- Faculty must be licensed in the home state. Clinical faculty must be licensed in the state where the clinical experiences are offered.
- The program must provide adequate clinical instruction, technical support, and access to faculty and resources. Additionally, it shall ensure the security of the student's personal information and the integrity of their work, and have a means for assessing student and program outcomes.
