- All prelicensure distance education programs must be approved by the Nevada BON if they have clinical students in Nevada. Nevada has an abbreviated application and reporting schedules for these programs.
- The above is also the process for programs that border Nevada and want to conduct clinical experiences in Nevada.
- Distance education programs which have clinical students in Nevada are required to inform the board on an annual basis about their accreditation status since Nevada requires all prelicensure programs to be accredited by a CCNE or ACEN.
- Nevada requires all faculty teaching students in Nevada to have a Nevada license, whether they are teaching didactic or clinical courses.
