The Tri-Regulator Collaborative is urging that steps be taken by all stakeholders to bring uniformity and interoperability to EHRs across all practice settings.

The NCSBN Model Act and Rules:

• Promote a common understanding of what constitutes the practice of nursing
• Provide a comprehensive framework for boards of nursing to view regulatory issues and needs
• Identify essential components of legislation
• Inspire new ideas, new approaches and suggestions for future regulatory goals

This poster is designed to help both new and experienced nurses understand how social media can be properly used in the profession without breaking patient privacy and confidentiality laws. This is a companion piece to A Nurse's Guide to the Use of Social Media.

The NCSBN Model Act and Rules are exemplary legislation that can be adopted by a BON. The current Model Act & Rules were developed by a NCSBN committee, approved by the Delegate Assembly in 2012 and updated in 2014.

Fact sheets provide volume and pass rate data for both U.S. and international candidates. Information is provided for performance on NCSBN's two nurse licensure examinations, the NCLEX-PN and NCLEX-RN. 

The NCSBN Guidelines for the Board of Nursing: Complaints Involving a Licensee and Marijuana contain information which serves to inform BONs of the current evidence related to cannabis and provides guidelines for BON assessment and decision-making in complaints involving cannabis.
