    Kansas Enacts Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)

    Kansas has become the 30th member of the eNLC with the signing of the bill by Gov. Jeff Colyer, on April 10, 2018. The eNLC was implemented Jan. 19, 2018, in the existing 29* states. Kansas’ eNLC implementation date is July 1, 2019.

    Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) Implemented Jan. 19, 2018

    UPDATE: The eNLC was implemented on Friday, Jan. 19, 2018 with 29 member states. Colorado and New Mexico’s governors signed their legislation the evening of Jan. 18. As of this date, nurses with eNLC multistate licenses may begin practicing in eNLC states.
