    NCSBN voted on Dec. 1, 2016, to uphold the current passing standard for the NCLEX-PN Examination. The passing standard will remain at the current level of -0.21 logits that was instituted April 1, 2014. This passing standard will remain in effect through March 31, 2020.

    The 2017 NCLEX-PN Test Plan - Basic is now available to download and will go into effect April 1, 2017. NCLEX test plans are updated every three years to reflect current, entry-level nursing competency. The basic version of the test plan is an overview of approved content distribution.
