With the recent launch of the Next Generation NCLEX, the Examinations Content Development Team would like to dedicate time to addressing the most frequently asked questions about the exam. This session will equip you with information and resources to support the nurse educators and candidates in your jurisdiction.

This forum will allow attendees to ask any questions they have related to the Next Generation NCLEX (NGN) and its launch on April 1, 2023.

Highlights for before, during and after the NCLEX. Includes information on The Eight Steps of the NCLEX, acceptable identification and rules for scheduling/rescheduling your appointment.

This resource serves as your guide from before to after the NCLEX, including important contact information, details on how to register, the NCLEX Candidate Rules and results processing. 

The webinar will summarize the Testing Accommodations process, including the roles of candidates, NCSBN, Pearson VUE and Nursing Regulatory Bodies (NRBs).

The NCLEX-RN test plan includes an in-depth overview of the content categories along with new details about administration of the exam as well as clinical judgment.

The NCLEX-PN test plan includes an in-depth overview of the content categories along with new details about administration of the exam as well as clinical judgment.

This webinar attendees will learn about NCLEX volunteer opportunities and receive valuable information that can be shared with potential volunteers. Topics will include the application process, types of opportunities, as well as the panel selection process.

Summary data for multiple categories of candidates, U.S. and international, is provided for performance on NCSBN's two nurse licensure examinations, the NCLEX-PN and NCLEX-RN. 

During this session, NCSBN staff will highlight principal elements of Computerized Adaptive Testing (CAT) for the NGN. Staff will explain the test design and illustrate how the CAT works. Some examples will also be used to demonstrate the NGN CAT.
