Specifically, the median number of clinical hours completed in virtual simulation jumped from 5% in 2019 to 25% in 2020. In 2024, though, the rate of virtual clinical simulation use pretty much reset, as you can see from the slide in front of you. In this instance, unlike online lecture delivery, there was no meaningful difference observed between the rates of virtual clinical simulation use in fall 2019 and fall 2024.

2022 NCLEX Conference for Canadian Educators | NCSBN
The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide an organization through which boards of nursing act and counsel together on matters of common interest and concern affecting the public health, safety and welfare, including the development of licensing examinations in nursing. This one-day, educational conference on April 28, 2022 provides nursing educators with Next Generation NCLEX (NGN) NCSBN Clinical Judgment Measurement Model (NCJMM) updates and techniques for applying the NCJMM in the classroom. Live question and answer sessions will be available after each session. The conference will also feature a variety of video resources about the NCLEX.

INVALID RESULTS NCSBN may cancel or withhold a candidate’s results if, in NCSBN’s judgment, there is a basis to question the validity of the results for any reason, notwithstanding the absence of any evidence of a candidate’s personal involvement in irregular activities. Evidence of invalid results may include, but are not limited to unusual answer patterns or unusual score increases from one exam to another.
