    The test plan provides the summary of the nursing content and the scope of the licensure examination. No matter how many items you have in your exams, your exam meets the specified percentages of the test plan. On the slide, you can see the Next Generation NCLEX RN and PN test plans. If you want to know how the test plan is proposed, please listen to the presentation for NGN practice analysis and the test plans. In a CAT exam, the test difficulty and the test lengths can be customized to your ability. You may wonder how we can assure the content coverage is the same for all CAT exams.

    If you have a big variance between resolution time and handle time, you have a workflow problem that you need to look at. Or you have a capacity issue. And those are things that you can use to communicate to others. And then the last thing is you do need to be tracking inquiry volume by topic or issue because you will find, as you do this analysis, that some types of your inquiries take longer to solve than others do. All issues are not the same. And if you can understand what those are and if we start getting into cost of inquiry analysis, you can understand which inquiries cost you the most to solve, and, therefore, are the ones that will have the biggest return on investment if you can either make them easier to solve or deflect them all together.
