The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) produces publications, online courses and videos that contribute to the body of nursing knowledge. Triennially, NCSBN conducts a practice analysis to analyze entry-level RN practice. Using the data collected from the practice analysis, the NCLEX Test Plan is developed, which guides the selection of content and behaviors to be tested during NCLEX administration.
