  • Results | NCLEX

    Site: nclex.com

NCLEX results will be mailed by a candidate's nursing regulatory body. Candidates in some jurisdictions can pay a fee for unofficial quick results service. If a candidate's result is cancelled, revoked or invalidated without a finding that the candidate engaged in irregular behavior, the candidate may appeal the decision and/or will be offered a free retest. An appeal is a candidate's exclusive means of redress with regard to NCSBN's decision to take this action.

The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide an organization through which boards of nursing act and counsel together on matters of common interest and concern affecting the public health, safety and welfare, including the development of licensing examinations in nursing. A companion bill ( H.R. 708 ) was introduced by Reps. Bob Latta (R-OH) and Debbie Dingell (D-MI) in the House of Representatives on February 2, 2021. The bill seeks to provide temporary licensing authority for health care professionals to practice in-person or via telehealth anywhere in the U.S. with a license in good standing in only one jurisdiction during a period where both a Public Health Emergency has been declared by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) and a national emergency has been declared by the President.

  • Clinical Judgment Measurement Model | NCLEX

    Site: nclex.com

NCSBN researchers developed the NCSBN Clinical Judgment Measurement Model (NCJMM) as a framework for the valid measurement of clinical judgment and decision making within the context of a standardized, high-stakes examination. The NCJMM provides NCSBN (and potentially other users), for the first time, a method for measuring and deriving valid inferences around the nursing clinical judgment and decision-making ability of prospective entry-level nurses. While the NCJMM neither defines nor redefines clinical judgment, it allows NCSBN (and potentially other users) for the first time a method for measuring and deriving valid inferences around the nursing clinical judgment and decision-making ability of prospective entry-level nurses.
