NCSBN Launches 2024 Nursing Workforce Survey | NCSBN
On the heels of its groundbreaking 2022 research, NCSBN will launch the 2024 National Nursing Workforce Survey in April 2024. The survey will run through September 2024. As a global leader in regulatory excellence, NCSBN champions regulatory solutions to borderless health care delivery, agile regulatory systems and nurses practicing to the full scope of their education, experience and expertise. A world leader in test development and administration, NCSBN’s NCLEX Exams are internationally recognized as the preeminent nursing examinations. NCSBN’s membership is comprised of the nursing regulatory bodies (NRBs) in the 50 states, the District of Columbia and four U.S. territories. There are seven exam user members and 23 associate members that are either NRBs or empowered regulatory authorities from other countries or territories.

Additionally, the BOD met in executive session to review the CEO’s performance assessment, which is a process conducted annually by the BOD. The BOD appointed and reappointed committee members to FY26 committees. The committees receiving appointments included Awards, Finance, NCLEX® Exam (NEC), NCLEX® Item Review Subcommittee (NIRSC), Governance and Bylaws, and the Model Act and Rules Committee. The utilization of committees is essential to accomplish the work of the organization on behalf of the BOD. Our members provide expertise and variability to the work of NCSBN that the BOD highly values.
