    So they rejected that first point presented by nurse Williston, and the court then, in its opinion, moves on to the second point, which was nurse Williston arguing that there were two different types of standards of care that were applicable in this case, and because she was in an out-of-hospital setting, the board did not essentially present enough evidence, competent evidence to support the conclusion that she had all these violations of the Nursing Practice Act because none of the experts the board presented had any kind of training or experience delivering babies outside of a hospital setting.

And just a quick plug for Nursys e-Notify, because, obviously, with changes to license status, you want the nurse to be aware of the status change that took place. And that's precisely what e-Notify does. And so we encourage all states to promote e-Notify to your nurses and employers so that both can be aware of any changed license status.

    NCLEX results will be mailed by a candidate's nursing regulatory body. Candidates in some jurisdictions can pay a fee for unofficial quick results service. NCSBN may cancel or withhold a candidate's results if, in NCSBN's judgment, there is a good faith basis to question the validity of the results for any reason, notwithstanding, the absence of any evidence of a candidate's personal involvement in irregular activities. Evidence of invalid results may include, but are not limited to, unusual answer patterns or unusual score increases from one exam to another.
