    And, you know, when I was on the board in Arizona, we would put people on probation. And I always wondered if we were doing any good, you know? And if we put people on probation for some of the things that happened in the practice settings, did it really work? I mean, what was magical about two years of probation, three years of probation, four years of probation? And so, I think about all that, that we really need to still figure out in our practice worlds. And so, why do you need to look at your statutes, rules, advisory opinions, and so on?

I would like to voice my opinion that I think that we need to keep the temporary permits, because in Delaware, for both APRNs, and their rules, as well as RNs and LPNs, if they have been out of practice for over five years, we require a supervised practice plan. And if they have to do a supervised practice plan, they do so on a temporary permit. It is specific to the location where they're going to be doing the supervised practice, and they also are time limited.
