    NCSBN began administering the NCLEX-RN exam in January 2015. There were 4,701 candidates who took the NCLEX for Canadian RN licensure/registration from Jan. 1 to June 30, 2015. More than half of the volume comes from Ontario and Alberta. The numbers of candidates educated in Ontario and Alberta are 1,699 and 1,085, respectively.
