At a time when we are aware that we need to diversify the workforce, this potentially makes the challenge of recruiting diverse candidates more challenging. It may place additional demands on faculty to help remediate learning loss. And ultimately, if those gaps are not addressed, the passing rate of the NCLEX exam for those most impacted may decline. Knowing that this is an issue ahead of time means we can work to remediate the problem. Now, as you are aware, I have raised the issue of educational programs before, and hence working with the education policy community becomes, as a result of COVID, even more of an imperative.

In addition, we are in the early stages of examining the specific contribution of virtual simulation and clinical education. I'm not seeing any questions at this time. So I'd like to thank you for joining. Oh, sorry. Okay, thank you so much. Yes, we... Sue had asked if we plan to correlate our data to NCLEX outcomes and yes, we do plan to do so. And I see Paulette over here has asked, "Is there any comparison to the association of pass rates and changes in clinical and simulation?" ©2021 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. At the end of the study, there were no statistically significant differences in clinical competency as assessed by clinical preceptors and instructors, no statistically significant differences in comprehensive nursing knowledge assessments, and there were no statistically significant differences in NCLEX pass rates among the three study groups. In 2014, prior to the release of the results from the National Simulation Study, a survey was mailed out to NCSBN's member and associate member boards of nursing to assess the status of regulation of simulation and nursing.

It did not align with the NCLEX. So, that crosswalk is on our website and it is available to give people an idea about where these programs might intersect if you're working and partnering with an associate degree program. Or that you have an associate degree program, I would encourage you to reach out.

Well, they're trying to do a little media push of heroes to...I can't even think of now what it is, healers. Heroes to healers. And they're trying to have... Well, they started with a push to have military medics be equivalent to an LPN from the get-go. Like, go straight to an NCLEX. And so we have negotiated down. We're really trying hard to work with them. And the good thing is that one of the bills, well, the bill sponsors I have worked with with the CMA group and some other things. So they keep saying, "Just go talk to Kelly.
