So, we really need to move forward that vision of a compact nation, where all the checks and balances are in place so that you as regulators can do your job and protect the public, but we can strip out some of the bureaucracy that comes with a single-state system. And of course, Next Generation NCLEX also gets a shout-out. "Nurses for Health Equity," it's a highly focused report. It really does look at the issues of health equity and social determinants of health. It was produced by the WISH Foundation. Recommendations are best summarized as a series of declarative statements, so, rather than, and doesn't actually offer how you might actually go about that.

The proposed language creates two classifications of temporary authorizations, finding the need between the authorization for licensure by exam and endorsement candidates. Temporary permits are for licensure by examination applicants. These permits are time limited and require supervision. These permits are revocable if the applicant fails the NCLEX exam. Temporary licenses, on the other hand, are available for licensure by endorsement applicants, and the temporary licenses are also time limited.
