    Patty is a shining example of reliability and loyalty, and known as someone who is part of the solution for whatever challenges are presented. She has collaborated with countless national nursing regulator stakeholders throughout her tenure. Her innovative ideas provided a smooth transition to full autonomous practice for APRNs in Nevada. She was also key to providing the board with the information needed to select a new CNA test vendor, and instrumental in overseeing the transition to the new provider in a seamless manner. Patty was vital to the success of Nevada being one of the first states to launch ORBS, and worked diligently with the state's top leadership team and NCSBN's ORBS team to ensure a successful launch.

    Recognizing the importance of collaboration and engagement with nurses in Arkansas, Sue spearheaded town hall meetings throughout the state, giving nursing students and nursing professionals a public voice and fostered a culture of inclusivity and transparency. She also helped establish the Center for Nursing in Arkansas and was instrumental in APRNs getting full practice authority in the state. Through her active involvement on the NCSBN Board of Directors, Sue has instilled a sense of purpose and pride within her board staff. Leading by example, she fosters mentorship and has cultivated a supportive work environment that encourages and inspires regulatory engagement at the local, state, and national levels.
