    At the end of the study, there were no statistically significant differences in clinical competency as assessed by the clinical preceptors and instructors, no significant differences in comprehensive nursing knowledge assessments and there were no statistically significant difference in NCLEX pass rates among the three study groups. In 2014, prior to the release of the results from the National Simulation Study, we at NCSBN, and this was led by Jennifer, this was Jennifer Hayden's idea, so this brings the conference full course, because we had the keynote address from Jennifer at the start and feel this is following up with an idea that Jennifer had that she wanted to track, what was the state of regulation now and what would it look like in the future.

    So in fall 2024, we set out to conduct a longitudinal examination of didactic and clinical delivery format trends ourselves. Institutions that provided responses during both the 2020 and 2024 data collection windows were linked using unique program NCLEX codes to facilitate longitudinal analysis and to assess both within and across program change. Overall, as you can see from the slide, just over 1,200 pre-licensure RN programs participated in at least one of the two survey waves. Of this total, 804 provided longitudinal data on their clinical and/or lecture delivery formats, including over 3,500 observations across high-fidelity simulation, virtual clinical simulation, and didactic instruction.

Can the board use the Affidavit of Graduation portal to process Out of State applications? No, the Affidavit of Graduation portal was developed to be utilized by in- state NCLEX Nursing programs where there is no need to collect transcript from the school but a validation from the Dean of the nursing program. Boards should follow their current processes for verification of education for out of state programs and collect transcripts etc. as may be required.
