The partial credit model scales those points onto the NCLEX ability scale. This enables us to establish item difficulties so that we can administer multi-point items during the computer adaptive exam. And in turn, this allows us to make inferences on examinee abilities so that those who pass the NCLEX exam can practice safe and effective care. Thanks for watching, and please visit our website for more information on our NCLEX research.

This approach enables us to understand the true difficulty of each question and deliver an adaptive exam tailored to each examinee. Most importantly, this precise measurement system ensures that those who pass the NCLEX have demonstrated the knowledge and skills needed for safe and effective nursing practice. Thanks for watching, and please visit the NCLEX resource website for more information. If you have any questions, you can enter them in the Q&A panel, and we will answer them in the next live Q&A session.

I don't think they need to understand all the nuances of algorithms, I think they do need to trust it though. I'll give you an example. I'm a cardiologist and I still practice and I have patients with a pacemaker. I don't understand all the engineering aspects of a pacemaker per se, but I do trust it in terms of the fact that I can program it any way I like to and I can trust it, and I can pick up trouble based on my testing the pacemaker.

Playing off of your sympathy, trying to make it urgent for you in the hopes that maybe you would not look at their information closely, in the hopes that possibly you just would go ahead and finish their paperwork and license them just to get them out of your office. Of course, we know that's not how it works. You must go through the process. And again, it all drives back to what our mission is. It all drives back to why we exist, making sure that we license individuals who will be able to practice safely and competently and making sure that we're not issuing licenses to individuals that shouldn't have one. Right now, Mark can probably attest to the fact that we have one particular student trying to obtain licensure through NCLEX based on her education through the Philippines.
