I want to talk about how we can help you press the pause button just a little bit to weed through some of the distractions, the noise that's taking place in your head and you don't even know it's there. So, you take the increase in caseloads, and then you kind of couple that with the rising pressure. In state government, social media has become the bane of my existence. Oh, my gosh, I'd go out there, and I'd read the Google reviews in our agency, you know, and if they ever got higher than 2.2, I was like, "Oh, we're the best in the world." And then I came up because we, executives, come up with stupid ideas.

If we go out and speak to students or nursing program administrators, or employers, Nursys.com and Nursys e-Notify are regular topics we highlight during our presentations. We also continually market the service via our board of nursing newsletter, website and social media offerings.” Guerrero added that even the board’s open records requests and staff email footers encourage e-Notify enrollment. Majek cited the Texas board’s newsletter as well, also adding the BON ListServ communications as a means of promoting e-Notify.

But we, potentially, have biased data, based on responses, also because there is self-selection involved in the respondents to survey solicitation. We did our recruitment in several different manners. We recruited through program administrators and directors, we did direct recruitment, and we did social media recruitment. And so, we're aware that the people who chose to participate in the study may be different and may have had different experiences than those who chose not to participate or who were unaware of the study. ©2021 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc.

And I want to tie this in before the conclusion of the talk, I want to tie this into the National Council. Okay. So that's the setting for today. So, when I think about identification, when I want to discuss identification, I'm thinking about identification for a social scientist. So what do we mean by identification in the social sciences? Well, it's pretty much how we define ourselves, how we view ourselves, how we present ourselves to others, okay? But it's also partly how other people see us. We cannot always affect, we cannot always control how others see us.

If you use data virtualization platform, there's often going to be cache [inaudible] that can help quickly provide these query results and make this whole process run much more smoother and much faster. You might also add additional third-party data systems like open government data, or social media data. So, you can combine these various things and various pieces of data from various disparate systems and get them into a single place in a single report. So, you can pull a report based on how many people you have licensed and what the semantics are, or the results are from your social media feeds and combine that information into a single report and see ©2022 National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc.

In the “Tri-Regulator Collaborative Position Statement on Practitioner Wellness,” the Tri-Regulator Collaborative expressed its commitment to identifying and preventing practitioner burnout. Today, knowledge overload, numerous technology innovations, social media pressures and a rapidly changing practice environment create numerous challenges. More needs to be done to provide practitioners with the wellness strategies and assistance they need to deal with the stress of these challenges, which often leads to practitioner burnout and/or unhealthy responses.
