    Now that the panel has completed their hard work and came up with a recommended cut score, it's time for the PNEC to finalize the decision. After the standard-setting workshop, the psychometricians will prepare a report documenting the standard-setting processes and the recommendation from the panel of judges. The PNEC will review the recommendation along with other information. We usually have some historical data on the candidates' test performance, so we can estimate the pass rate for a suggested cut score. Based on all evidence, the PNEC will make a final decision on the cut score. They would either adopt the standard recommended by the panel, or they may keep the current standard if it's a re-evaluation.
