Staff reminded the committee that the BOD has convened the Governance & Bylaws Review Committee for this fiscal year and they will meet for the first time in March to examine the functions of the LSC. The committee breached the topic of term limits for board members and a bylaw amendment was proposed, suggesting that board members be empowered to complete their current term regardless of placement or lack thereof on a regulatory board, unless they were removed for cause.
