Both the NCLEX-RN® and the NCLEX-PN®* are a variable-length, computerized, adaptive tests. The NCLEX is not offered in paper- and-pencil or oral examination formats. The NCLEX-RN and the NCLEX-PN can be anywhere from 85 to 150 items.
