Puente reported that in late Oct. 2023 commissioners received resources regarding the new rule, including a press release that linked to FAQs and a brief video. A board of nursing (BON) asked for clarification of the new rule’s time frame. The NLC Rules Committee discussed the question, and developed supplemental guidance with R. Masters and F.     So, the lab values currently in the Special Research Section, which includes the NGN questions, have all reference ranges, all normal reference ranges available for the candidate to refer to when answering the question.
