Think about that. Are there two differences between 0 logits to 0.001 logits? Not really. Even though we do standard setting in a very rigorous way, there is no true value. Passing standard is related to the mission of the organization and the exam. For NCLEX, the mission is public protection. When we set the standard, we need to keep the mission in our mind. Regarding clinical judgment, everyone receive three operational case study scenarios with additional standalone items following the minimum-length exam. With this approach, your exam will comply with the NCLEX test plan regardless of the number of items. In this presentation, I want to emphasize that item type is not part of the item selection algorithms, so it is possible that you won't encounter all NCLEX item types in your exam. Our entry-level nurses data support the first thing of employment settings. However, at present, we've been unable to uncover data on an increase in part-time or an as-needed status or turnover from units or organizations within the first year of practice. Other data was collected in the form of a survey. Using the NCLEX test plan activity statements, the respondents were asked to rate the relevancy of clinical judgments using a Likert scale. On average, the experienced registered nurses' ratings reflected an average clinical judgment relevancy of 3.37 with a relatively low standard deviation.
