A follow-up study with non-respondents showed similar patterns of response, especially in areas of importance and clinical judgment, supporting the validity of the findings. Before we look at the survey results, it's important to understand how respondents evaluated the nursing activities. Both the RN and PN surveys included the same three rating questions, focusing on how often an activity is performed, how critical it is to client safety, and how relevant clinical judgment is.

So in our case, this was clinical judgment decision-making. So the clinical judgment decision-making model was based on the accumulated knowledge of developing measurement models for assessment across a lot of different domains. So we can learn from their previous research on using a general model, but then contextualize it within the nursing profession, as referenced in Muntean and Bett's articles.
