So, sometimes while it shows the initiation of a criminal case, it does not necessarily show how it ends. Another way to obtain criminal history is by accessing public information made available by each state on the internet. This method does not utilize fingerprint, it is based on checking names, date of births, social security numbers, and addresses. So, because of that, this is much cheaper than fingerprint-based checks and may cost as little as $1 per search. In DC, we use both types of access, we use fingerprints at the initial stage of licensing and then rely on name checks for the renewal process.

We also need to think about how support workers are going to fit into the new model. We, as a country, the population dynamics are changing. We need to think about who's going to be in the workforce and how they might progress throughout their career within health and social care provision. And some of the work that's been done in Brazil, where they moved from basically very little services outside of the big cities, to, you know, total coverage across the whole nation in 20 years, again, is something worth looking at.

While health professions have not yet formally studied this theory, it is highly relevant to this profession. The goal of Situated Cognition, according to Scheppke (2004), is to help the student develop higher-level thinking and reasoning skills, which are an integral part of nursing.
