    We're going to have fairly similar number of minimum-length test and a maximum-length test. And we're going to use the same exact pass/fail rules as we do today. The most noticeable changes will be the direct measurement of entry-level clinical judgment scale. And that comes along with the added additional item types, the screen design, and the introduction of clinical judgment measurement model, six-item sets which will be found within the minimum-length exam.

    The simulation cases were developed using a clinical judgment framework which supported the entry-level nurses in applying clinical judgment. The entry-level nurses and nurse raters received a 30-minute orientation and education to describe the study's purpose, the use of the Lasater clinical judgment, and the overall methodology.
