Fred was a key member of the Attorney Advisory Group, dedicating his time and effort to developing the model statute and rules of the Nurse Licensure Compact. Over the years, he has presented at conferences and other nursing regulatory bodies, as well as provided legal guidance for understanding issues surrounding the Compact and its implications. In 2017, Fred was instrumental to Arkansas' legislative implementation of the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact. That same year, when Arkansas passed legislation to create an alternative to disciple program, Fred facilitated the implementation team's development of NCSBN's program structure.

Sue championed both the NLC and the ENLC in her state. She has been active and held leadership roles, including chair, vice chair, and treasurer on the Nurse Licensure Compact Administrator Organization and the NLC. Recognizing the importance of collaboration and engagement with nurses in Arkansas, Sue spearheaded town hall meetings throughout the state, giving nursing students and nursing professionals a public voice and fostered a culture of inclusivity and transparency. She also helped establish the Center for Nursing in Arkansas and was instrumental in APRNs getting full practice authority in the state.
