This annual report functions as a formal summary of NCSBN’s performance and activities during fiscal year 2023. This includes NCSBN membership achievements, financial and business information including operating statements and listings of the Board of Directors, committees and staff that follows NCSBN’s fiscal year spanning Oct. 1, 2022 to Sept. 30, 2023.

Participants will learn the latest from across the country from your Federal Affairs and State Affairs teams. Updates on federal legislation and administrative agency policy, both passed and pending, will be covered, highlighting the work of NCSBN and our nursing coalition partners. The State Affairs team will bring you the latest updates on the Nurse Licensure Compact, APRN Compact and NursingAmerica campaigns and activities our team is engaged in to move nursing regulation policy forward.

This presentation will review Alabama Board of Nursing legislation to enhance public protection through establishment of scope of practice standardization, and regulation of various supportive nursing personnel, including certified nursing support technicians, providing care to patients in hospital-based and non-long-term care settings.
