    Zickafoose reported that the  revised Memorandum of  Understanding (MOU) between the  NLC and NCSBN became effective on  Oct. 1, 2024. The purpose of the  revision was to make the MOU  current for the future. J. Puente now  reports to the NCSBN CEO P.  Dickison. The $50k secretariat fee  was removed at the CEO’s  suggestion.

I remember a couple of years ago, when the Board convened for our annual strategic setting meeting, that I made the comment that it was important for the Board to put forward a strategic plan that would guide the work of the organization no matter who was at the table.
