We're going to talk first about some of the strategy that we have used in the 2022 Session, but really all of the past sessions. But thought it would be nice to illustrate for you kind of what has been going on and what are some of the strategies that have been used. So I am going to start with the use of media to advance legislation. We hear a lot about how important the media is and how it's important to leverage the media when wanting to, you know, push a policy initiative. So I wanted to show an example of how that was actually put into play this session.

The use of these media can reduce dependence on reading skills, as well as enhance the validity and task congruence of a test.” (p. 136) The development of assessments of listening skills might also be important because the visual and audio channels of commu- nication tap different cognitive processes.
