NCSBN's 11-member, elected Board of Directors oversees implementation of policy and directing the activities of the organization. Missy has served on a number of committees, including the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) Executive Committee from 2020 to 2024, the NLC Policy Committee since 2021 and the Model Act and Rules committee in 2024. More about Missy Poortenga, MHA, RN Tammy Vaughn, MSN, RN, CNE Director-at-Large 2024-2026 Tammy Vaughn has been the Program Coordinator for Education and Licensure at the Arkansas Board of Nursing since 2011. She has served on the NCSBN NCLEX Examination Committee (NEC) for five years and the NCLEX Item Review Subcommittee (NIRSC) for six years. Tammy was privileged to complete the NCSBN International Center for Regulatory Scholarship (ICRS) program in the second graduating class.
